Loud and Clear on Suffolk Sound

Deb Bunt

Thank you to Rob Dunger, from Suffolk Sound Radio. He promised us a chat and a giggle if we went on his show and he delivered on that promise.

Despite the early start, Peter and I really enjoyed meeting Rob in his studio. I was particularly appreciative that Rob wrote his name for Peter to see at all times. It's little gestures like this, Peter said, that uncomplicate things for him. And it's so easy to do!

In a fun-filled 50 minute slot, we talked about dementia, living well, books, ambitions fulfilled (apart from Arsenal winning the champions league) and Rob very kindly told us that we were inspirational. Not sure what was in that coffee but the sentiment was appreciated.

I think, judging by the last photo, the boys had a good time!

Peter is pleased to be a patron of For Brian CIC -  an evolving concept, co-produced by its directors in collaboration with its beneficiaries living with dementia. The company aims to empower people living with dementia and their families to design support that meets their individual needs, providing agency in challenging circumstances. Cycling plays a huge part in their existence.
