Peter becomes a Dementia Ambassador for MedicAlert

A while ago we were contacted by a member of staff from MedicAlert, the UK's medical ID charity. It seems that someone had noticed my ramblings on Twitter about Peter (itself quite alarming, I must be more circumspect about my ramblings...) and they were keen to have him as part of their organisation so his positive approach might inspire others.

In turn, Peter was keen to be involved - so, rather than me explain everything, read the link on their website which explains the organisation's ethos and aims and then read the story they have created on Peter: Peter Berry | MedicAlert Ambassador

Peter really hopes that his story - which is one of many inspirational stories - will help others continue to do what they love to do, despite the diagnosis of dementia, memory impairment or some other life changing condition.

With thanks to all those with whom we have dealt, for their very positive portrayal of Peter and for their links to our website/our books. And, of course, to Philip Atkins for explaining the Herbert Protocol to me (several times....)
